The 'triple alliance' allegations had created a buzz! CHP leader Özel came out very harshly: "One would be ashamed"

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel made important statements on Habertürk's live broadcast on the 9th anniversary of the treacherous July 15th coup attempt. Stating that they stood against the coup from the very beginning on the night of July 15th, Özel said, "That night, we called on everyone here to resist the coup. It doesn't matter who's carrying out the coup or why. They're carrying it out against the nation." The CHP leader also commented on the " Terror-Free Turkey " process, using very harsh language against President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Özel also made controversial allegations regarding the "bribery" scandal at the Manavgat Municipality.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel's statements are as follows;

Parliament was closed that day. The day before, Parliament had been working late. I left around 5:00 PM. I don't have family here; I'm staying in a guesthouse. On my way to the guesthouse, a few planes flew by very low. I saw a Reuters reporter and asked if he knew they'd closed the bridge. That night, I sent an SMS to our group asking us to gather at headquarters. We made a brief assessment there. All coups have a target; they target symbolic places. We said, 'They're going to surround Parliament, let's protect Parliament.' We arrived at Parliament. Our party leaders were on the plane, and we couldn't reach them. There were three parties present, but the HDP said they weren't in Ankara and would support the declaration.

In my speech, I said, "We are a party that has been around for a century; we do whatever the nation assigns us. The nation has given us the mandate to be the main opposition. We stand behind the elected parliament, the leaders, the government, and democracy; we oppose the coup. That night, we called on everyone here to resist the coup. Who is carrying out the coup and why is irrelevant. They are acting against the nation."

"THIS WON'T BE OVER UNTIL IT'S CLEARED FROM THE PUBLIC"

This is how FETÖ grew; it's a very insidious organization. It's an organization that infiltrates and penetrates everywhere. It must be acknowledged in the fight against FETÖ: numerous individuals affiliated with the police and judiciary have been removed. The work stalled when it came to politicians. As for the political aspect of the coup, the work was left unfinished when relatives of high-ranking politicians were cleared. This work will not be completed until the next government addresses FETÖ's political component and purges it from the public eye. Mr. President demonstrated a resolute stance against FETÖ, but if he ordered the March 19 coup under the guidance of those around him, this system failed to achieve results because it eliminated checks and balances. If you know an AK Party member, you've saved yourself. That infection persists in the state.

TERROR-FREE Türkiye PROCESS

The president says there are three of us. Then things took a turn. Erdoğan's vote share dropped to 29. The public squares are resisting the March 19 coup. The CHP has the moral, psychological, and majority energy. It has always been able to gather civil servants for crowded squares in the past, but it has lost that power, too.

"A PERSON IS SHAME"

Now, on one side, 100,000 people are standing in Istanbul, and 25,000 in Bayburt this weekend. He comes back and says, "I've set up a new game. I'm with the MHP and DEM. We're a crowd; don't be afraid." This is the message he's sending to his own audience. It's a meeting of impotence. He's in a state of profound helplessness because he's fallen into a politically wretched state. It's shameful. Ms. Pervin Buldan says, "There's no political alliance; we're discussing the process."

Erdoğan stepped off the democracy train on March 19th. On March 19th, 2028, I'm telling you, tents will be set up again, just like July 15th, and live broadcasts will be held. I'll be a guest. You'll probably invite me, but I'll invite you now. Let me be clear: we're in the process of a coup. Erdoğan staged a coup against Ekrem İmamoğlu, the likely next president. Trump's aides don't object to anyone saying, "This happens in third-world countries. Erdoğan handled it," while Erdoğan imprisoned 17 CHP mayors. There's not a single penny left. All their lies have collapsed. All their lies are collapsing; Erdoğan orchestrated March 19th, or he can't stop those who orchestrated it.

"I WILL NOT ATTEND THAT MEETING TODAY"

We will make the most positive contributions under the umbrella of this Parliament. This terrorism must be eradicated, and a strong democracy must be built. Parliament must play an active role. We will do our part.

"YOU WILL GIVE BACK THE MUNICIPALITIES TO WHICH YOU APPOINTED TRUSTEES, AND THEN POSITIVE CONTRIBUTIONS WILL BE MADE"

Twelve of our friends are in prison because of the urban reconciliation. They made a dormitory reconciliation with Abdullah Öcalan. Our people will remain in prison. First, you will release the friends who were on the municipal councils in the urban reconciliation. You will return the municipalities to which you appointed trustees, and then positive contributions will be made.

Erdoğan has reached a certain age, lost his ability to reason, and has become someone who has no taste for democracy.

COMMISSION WORKS IN THE PARLIAMENT

Mr. Kurtulmuş asked for his opinion on the commission. If he insists on a commission like this, he's making a mistake. Let's agree on a reasonable path and proceed accordingly. If he's acting with good intentions and has already determined his name, title, and number, this won't work.

Let Türkiye democratize; the terrorism problem can be solved by taking democratic steps. We will not remain silent if Erdoğan is the first to act simply to keep the CHP out. There is no longer comfortable politics. Anyone who has ever dealt with Türkiye's leading party will know this.

BRIBERY IN MANAVGAT: "IT WAS A CONSPIRACY. I ACCEPT THAT THE MAN WAS A FRAUD, BUT..."

As the CHP, the person who bought that box of baklava was a CHP municipal council member. We are ashamed of having nominated him. We suspended our former and current Manavgat members who managed the process for his candidacy. We expelled the person who accepted the bribe and two others. The bribe he received was a composition. He was involved in alcohol smuggling. They trained and equipped him and sent him to the municipality to wait for the box of baklava. They worked on it, brought it, and put it there. It was a conspiracy. I accept that the man is a fraud and guilty, but he went on to name a total of six of our municipal council members. He names six of them so that the municipality would switch to the AKP. On Sunday night, the baklava seller withdrew his resignation so that the municipality would switch from the CHP to the AKP, trying to change the CHP's numbers in favor of the AKP.
